Divine Mercy Sunday                                                    (April 12,2026)

Divine Mercy Sunday was established by Pope St. John Paul II during the canonization of St. Faustina Kowalska on April 30, 2000. The feast is celebrated on the Second

Sunday of Easter

Graces granted on Divine Mercy Sunday

One can receive a plenary indulgence on Divine Mercy Sunday. The faithful can receive complete forgiveness of sins and punishment if they go to Confession and receive Holy Communion. This day is seen as an opportunity to experience God's mercy in a profound way.
