FEBRUARY CALENDAR

2/11 at 11am: Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus - Dragon, Greensboro Coliseum
2/13 at 11am: Come celebrate Valentine's Day in Room 5 with a special craft and snacks.
2/22 at 11am: Nursery time
2/23 at 7pm: Mom's Night Out at Firebirds. Please RSVP to Cynthia at cingle7820@gmail.com.
2/27 at 11am: We are having a Mardi Gras party in Room 5, complete with special snacks, a King Cake and a fun craft.

3/7 at 11am: Meet us at the Lewisville Library for storytime.
3/16 at 6pm: Join us for Pizza Night where we have some St. Patrick's Day fun. $7.00 per family. Any green side dishes/desserts are welcome.
3/19 at 11am: A fun cookie tour at Ms. Hanes in Clemmons
3/22 at 7pm: Mom's Night Out at Cimarrons in Clemmons. Please RSVP to Cynthia at cingle7820@gmail.com.
3/26 at 11am: Nicer weather calls for some outdoor fun at the Volunteer playground (right at the train) inside Tanglewood. If raining, please come to the nursery.

A Special Thank You!
We would like to extend a special thank you to those who served as leaders last year, Monika Sisak, Nicole Johnson, Roni Yonka and Kathleen Cannon. A thank you also goes to Kelly Hines who served last year and continues to serve this year as the Mom's Night Out Coordinator. Cynthia Ingle also served last year and remains as the Meals for Moms Coordinator. We really appreciated all that these ladies did last year for the group!
We will maintain most of the existing activities since they had served us well for most of our needs. There will just be some trials of new activities to see if they work well among us.
† Playgroup will be held once a week. We will also be having one play date a month for children who are in school. These activities will be age appropriate K-5 but your younger children a welcome to join in. This will allow children and mothers of school age children to attend our play dates. Our goal is for free or low cost activities. Other “event” play dates will be scheduled too like – Children’s Museum, Sci-Works, Shallowford Farm Popcorn tour etc...
† We will continue the MNO on a monthly basis. Suggestions are always welcome for any new place or a twist to the dining out. Tell us about it! Kelly Hines will be coordinating this event each month and can be reached at 940-6053 or khines72@hotmail.com
† We will continue the Family Pizza Night at church with board games and other fun activities.
† We will incorporate simple religious events - like this Sept. 8th is Mother Mary’s birthday. We’ll celebrate it on Tuesday, have the children sing Happy Birthday to Mother Mary at the grotto outside, birthday cake and make a birthday card for Mother Mary.
† We will also try to participate in service projects if we can have one or two this year. It’s about reaching out to others. If anybody has some ideas, your help will be appreciated.
We’ve been touched and blessed with this group. We learned a lot just by being around everyone. We are hoping that with your support and prayers, all of us can continue to touch lives, reach out to others to offer support, guide one another with our spiritual growth and to have lasting friendships among us.
We are looking forward to serve you all and to have another wonderful year.
