BEREAVEMENT
Be a part of a team that provides food for the reception after a funeral to give family and friends an opportunity to visit. A rewarding opportunity to show care to our families who have lost a loved one!
MOMS' SUPPORT AND PLAY GROUP
The Mom's group is open to all mothers at Holy Family. We strive to offer support, guidance and spiritual growth to one another and lasting friendships have resulted. We plan play dates once a week, generally on Wednesday mornings. While we often meet at church, we also plan some fun day trips to locations like Lazy 5 ranch, Day out with Thomas ( transportation museum) and, of course, in the summer, the pool. We also have Moms' Night Out once a month where moms get together and go out to dinner. Our Meals for Moms program assists mothers with newborns by providing meals. WIDOWS AND WIDOWER
Men and women who have lost their spouses find support, fellowship and the comfort of companions who "understand." This group no longer meets and is in need of leaders and members who want to reinvigorate what could be a wonderful ministry for those involved.
SEPARATED AND DIVORCED
This group formed several years ago and had a wonderful beginning. If there is an interest and someone willing to organize those interested, a wonderful NEW beginning can happen. Think social activities; yes, but also think about hearing from speakers about relevant topics, e.g. annulments. Someone is willing to help a new leader.
PRAYER CHAIN
When Church staff receives a "prayer request" they call the first name on a list of names that makes up the chain or network. In turn, each is called and this group begins a day or night of prayers in response. The group wants new members and wants you to be aware of their availability to receive your requests for prayers.
THE NURSERY
Available during 9:15 and 11:00 Sunday Masses, the Nursery provides parents and other parishioners with a less distracted Liturgical experience while being assured of their children's safety. This wonderful group of volunteers can always use help and may be exactly what you're looking for as a contribution to your stewardship obligation.
