HOLY FAMILY HOME SCHOOL ENRICHMENT OF THE TRIAD

The mission of Holy Family Homeschool Enrichment of the Triad is to support and encourage Catholic parents in their vocation to home educate their children.  It is part of our mission to help homeschool families grow, serve, love, and learn in our Catholic faith.  Our foundation is faithfulness and loyalty to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Please visit our website at www.holyfamilyhomeschoolenrichment.com for more infomation about this important program. SMALL CHURCH COMMUNITIES (SCC)

We invite you to participate in our Thursday evening SCC. A group of 6 to 10 parishioners come together to study and reflect upon the Scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday liturgy. This is a great way to meet members of our parish. We warmly invite newcomers to our area, as well as new RCIA members of our community. We offer you a great way to enjoy the fellowship and community at Holy Family while enhancing our faith journeys together. Sessions are conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Curlin Center. The "Sunday by Sunday" faith sharing program by Good Ground Press will be offered. Please watch the bulletin for announcements or contact Milton Goetz 922-0492 for additional information.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

Prayer Shawl Ministry is starting a new project – Afghans for Victory Junction Gang Camp.

The Victory Junction Gang Camp enriches the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun, and empowering, in a safe and medically sound environment.  Each camper at Victory Junction gets to take home a hand-made afghan as a souvenir from camp.

If you would like to participate in the project you can knit or crochet at home or join us on Monday evenings at 6:30 in Room 4 of the family center.

  • The afghans should be knitted or crocheted with bright, cheerful colors!  Our camper unit colors are blue, green, yellow and red and are great choices for afghans!
  • The yarn should be machine washable.
  • The afghans should be 35-40 inches wide by 45-50 inches long.

If you have questions please contact Peggy Schumacher @ 778-0600 ext.214
