PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS

Faith Formation
These are religious education classes for the young people of the parish. Starting at the age of three through 5th grade, classes are held on Sunday mornings for the pre-school and Wednesday afternoon/evenings for the elementary students. Volunteer opportunities vary from serving as one of 60+ catechists and aides to hall monitors, classroom volunteers for special events and people helping with mailings throughout the year.

Youth Ministry
From religious education, spiritual retreat to social events, youth ministry touches the lives of students in 6th through 12th grades. Catechetical sessions are held on Sunday evenings at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday nights provide opportunities for the High school youth to gather for spiritual, service and social events. Volunteer opportunities abound within the youth program - catechists, aides, chaperones, event drivers, and musicians. The 2nd Sunday of each month at the 12:30 p.m. Mass will be a YOUTH MASS; come experience the Glory.

RCIA
The R.C.I.A. is the process for adults to inquire, and learn about the Roman Catholic Church. It is designed to assist each individual in their faith journey, and to help them discern where the Holy Spirit is leading them. For many this process will culminate at the Easter Vigil, when they are received into the Church.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Vacation Bible School is a week long summer program for children 4years old through 5th grade. Volunteers range in age from 6th grade to adults. Volunteers help with everything from making decoration before the week to being a crew leader the week of VBS. A faith filled fun time for all – Join us!

Baptismal Preparation Classes
Baptisms take place each month on the first and third Saturday of each month at 11:00 am and must be scheduled at least one month in advance. A parent preparation class is required and takes place on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Reservations are required! Contact the Faith Formation Office at Extension #214.
