(One date change is Monday, April 30 will be taking the place of May 3)  October 13, 2012 will be the 30th annual Bazaar put on by dedicated members of Holy Family Parish.  It certainly takes a "village of worker bees" to make this worthwhile contribution of time and talents for our parish and community. ELECTRONIC GIVING PROGRAM
Many of you are already contributing to offertory through participation in our Direct Debit Giving program (Electronic Funds Transfer or EFT). We have expanded our electronic giving program to offer you the opportunity to donate to offertory through the use of Credit & Debit Cards or Online Giving directly from this website.

Electronic giving offers convenience for our parishioners and provides donation consistency for Holy Family.  We anticipate that this expansion of electronic giving options will appeal to many of you. Longtime parishioners will appreciate an alternative to frequent check writing and our younger members may prefer to donate via electronic means whenever possible.

In addition to contributions to Offertory the online giving program may also be used for the payment of Columbarium/Cemetery Fees, Faith Formation/Sacramental Fees, and contributions to the Liz Brooks Memorial Organ Fund.

Please click Donate to view information regarding Online Giving plans; to participate, click on the“Donate Online” box just above the plan descriptions.

CATHOLIC SCHOOLS ~ BUILDING OUR FUTURE
Where will you be in 16 years? For students currently starting kindergarten, the answer is “entering the work force”.  Investing in these students is a direct investment in our Church and in our future.  You have an opportunity to support Catholic Education in the Greensboro and Winston Salem Vicariates by placing a donation in our church offertory collection. Children and families in our Catholic schools support our faith community. Your prayers and generous contribution will, in turn, support them.  We will have only one collection.  Use your Catholic Education Envelopes, or clearly mark Catholic Education in the memo section of your check.  Thank you!

CATHOLICS COME HOME
Catholics Come Home is a national effort to encourage inactive Catholics to rediscover and perhaps renew their faith. We have some resources that have proven helpful to others on their journey.  Holy Family will host a series in May to help reacquaint you with the church and provide an opportunity to address your concerns.

WELCOME BACK!

PARISH ACTIVITY CENTER ROOM AND PICNIC SHELTER RENTALS
The Diocese of Charlotte has issued a new Special Events Insurance Application.  This document is to be used to obtain insurance coverage for non-parish activities conducted at Holy Family by entities unable to supply Holy Family with a Certificate of Insurance with Bishop Peter J. Jugis named as the additional insured. The cost is $100.00 per 24 hour event and does provide host liquor liability coverageAlcoholic Beverages were not previously permitted on the premises.  This fee is in addition to our regular Parish Activity Center room rental and Picnic Shelter rates.

A copy of this form may be obtained at the church office or may be downloaded from our church website under the tab entitled “Publications Index” Parish Activity Center – Room Rental Form or Picnic Shelter Rental Form. Special events  insurance must be in effect for any event held at Holy Family that is not parish sponsored and where the entire parish is not invited; this would include, but is not limited to Baptismal parties , Anniversary parties, Wedding receptions, and other Private meetings or events. Funeral receptions are covered by diocesan insurance, thus a separate policy covering this type of event is not required. The term "liquor" means any beverage served that contains alcohol.
