Holy Family

FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION FOR 2010/2011 IS NOW OPEN
Stop by the Office of Faith Formation for registration forms, to have your questions answered or just to say hello so we can meet you.  We will also be in the concourse of the church after all masses July 31st-August 1st and August 7th - August 8th   If you have questions regarding the sacrament of First Eucharist, Reconciliation or Confirmation, you may contact us by phone, 778-0600 Peggy Schumacher ext 214, Peggy McGrath ext 204 or Gina Henry ext 205.

BUS TICKETS TO THE EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
REST – RELAX – AND CONTEMPLATE

The diocese has made buses from Area Catholic Schools available to take parishioners to the Eucharistic Congress.  Tickets cost $10.00 each; a signup sheet is in the lobby.    Tickets must be purchased before August 16th.  The bus will pick parishioners up at Holy Family Catholic Church and depart at 6:30 am, Saturday, Sept 11th with arrival in Charlotte planned for 8:30 am.  After the completion of Holy Mass, the bus will pick parishioners up at the Charlotte Convention Center and return to Clemmons.  Tickets may be purchased after 7:15 pm mass.  Tickets are distributed on a first come, first serve basis.  For more information contact Lettita Iruela @336-399-1214 or Lettitia_Iruela @vfc.com

YARD SALE
Mark your calendars for Saturday September 18th 7:00 am-12:00 pm in the parking lot of Holy Family. The donation is $25 for two parking spaces this also includes advertizing in two papers and one radio station. Proceeds will go towards our Faith Formation program. Sign up for your space now. FAMILY LIFE COMMISSION LEADER NEEDED
Holy Family has an opening for a Family Life Commission Chairperson to oversee the Family Life programs.  The chairperson will be responsible for attending quarterly Stewardship Committee meetings, communicating with program chairpersons, and facilitating parish fellowship programs.  Programs under Family Life include Bereavement, Prayer Chain, Mom's Support & Play Group, Transportation, Visitation, Separated & Divorced, Nursery, and Widows/Widowers.  If you have been looking for a way to get involved in our parish's family activities or if you have questions, please contact John Harrison at 766-3309

ATTENTION GROUP LEADERS, COMMISSION CHAIRPERSONS & ORGANIZATION PRESIDENTS
Please review the following guidelines regarding the posting of your group’s activities at Holy Family Church, and share them with the folks you have chairing your activities.

RESPECT LIFE For help with an unplanned pregnancy, please call one of these numbers: 1-800-848-LOVE; Catholic Social Services, 727-0705;  Salem Care Center, 760-3680; Birthright, 774-0456 or Her Choice, 748-8777. For post-abortion healing, 1-877-HOPE4ME.

BAPTISMS
Baptisms are performed on the first and third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. and must be scheduled at least one month in advance. Please call the Faith Formation Office at Extension 214 to reserve space in the required Parent Preparation Class held on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. In preparation for this class please complete the Baptismal Form and bring it to the class.

COLUMBARIUM & CEMETERY
If you would like to reserve a columbarium niche or cemetery plot please contact Sandy Arend in the church office at 778-0600, Extension 203 for information or to obtain an application.  Click here to download an application form. Parishioners have the option of acquiring the rights to interment in columbarium niches or cemetery plots with payment in full at the time of the reservation or through an Installment Payment Plan of $100/month. Fees are $1,500/$2,500 for a single/double niche or plot.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
A Funeral Arrangements booklet has been prepared to assist you with planning for the interment of your loved ones in the Holy Family cemetery or columbarium. Whether you have already made funeral arrangements or are planning to visit the church to begin preparations, the necessary steps are explained in this booklet. We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have after reading this material. Booklets are available in the church office and the text is available on this website-please click here. In order to make arrangements for the interment of a family member now or at some time in the future please call Sandy Arend at Extension 203 in the church office during regular office hours Tuesday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

FREE ROSARY REPAIR SERVICE
Send your broken Rosaries in a padded envelope to: Betty and Dick Holden
(November to April) 7930 Estero Blvd., Apartment 502, Fort Myers Beach, Fl 33931; (May to October) Crane Place, Simsbury, CT 06070. They will be repaired and returned within a week of receipt. Donations of old and broken Rosaries are also accepted which will be repaired and sent on to the missions. Include a note indicating if your Rosary is for repair and return or if it is a donation. In Florida, call 239-463-3993, in Connecticut call 860-658-6330; or send e-mail to holdenbnd@comcast.net

"Bulletins Tab" and select the date of the bulletin you wish to read. You may become a member of Catholic Web and have the bulletin emailed to you each week. Select "Become a Member" on the left side of the page.

MOVING FROM YOUR CURRENT RESIDENCE?
