40 DAYS FOR LIFE
Christians throughout Winston-Salem are invited to take part in the national 40 Days for Life effort from February 17 through March 28. In addition to 40 days of peaceful prayer and fasting for an end to abortion, please consider volunteering to pray across from Planned Parenthood/Forsyth Women’s Clinic at 3000 Maplewood Avenue during the 40 days, and spread the word to others about this important life-saving effort. ANNUAL MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA
Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish Center. Mothers and daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters of all generations are invited to a special afternoon. Tradition requires that you bring your favorite tea cup. Tickets are $20.00 per Mother-Daughter; $5.00 for each additional daughter. COLUMBIETTES CLOTHING SALE
The Columbiettes are sponsoring a children's spring and summer consignment clothing sale. Sale dates are Friday, March 26th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Saturday, March 27th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You do not have to be a Columbiette to participate. This event is open to everyone. ALTAR FLOWERS-2010
We still have many openings for Altar Flowers. If you wish to remember a loved one, or honor a special occasion in 2010, please download an altar flower form from the Publications Index or contact the church office at 778-0600 Extension 200. We still need requests for: 5/9, 5/16.

BAPTISMS
Baptisms are performed on the first and third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. and must be scheduled at least one month in advance. Please call the Faith Formation Office at Extension 214 to reserve space in the required Parent Preparation Class held on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. In preparation for this class please complete the Baptismal Form and bring it to the class.
COLUMBARIUM & CEMETERY
If you would like to reserve a columbarium niche or cemetery plot please contact Sandy Arend in the church office at 778-0600, Extension 203 for information or to obtain an application. Click here to download an application form. Parishioners have the option of acquiring the rights to interment in columbarium niches or cemetery plots with payment in full at the time of the reservation or through an Installment Payment Plan of $100/month. Fees are $1,500/$2,500 for a single/double niche or plot.
FREE ROSARY REPAIR SERVICE
Send your broken Rosaries in a padded envelope to: Betty and Dick Holden (November to April) 7930 Estero Blvd., Apartment 502, Fort Myers Beach, Fl 33931; (May to October) Crane Place, Simsbury, CT 06070. They will be repaired and returned within a week of receipt. Donations of old and broken Rosaries are also accepted which will be repaired and sent on to the missions. This will take you to the Holy Family page at Catholic Web. Once there, click on the "Bulletins Tab" and select the date of the bulletin you wish to read. You may become a member of Catholic Web and have the bulletin emailed to you each week. Select "Become a Member" on the left side of the page.
