ATTENTION LITURGICAL MINISTERS ~ Eucharistic Ministers-Lectors-Altar Servers-Ushers
Please submit your Registration Form today as we begin implementation of our new automated Ministry Scheduler program to ensure that we have the most current information regarding your Ministry, Mass Time and the names of fellow ministers with whom you wish to serve. Forms are available for download from this web site and in the Altar Servers room. Please email forms to your ministry head or place them in the Registration Form In-Basket also located in the Altar Servers room. Your prompt attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated!

GREAT AMERICAN BAKE SALE!!! The New Year has begun and our annual Great American Bake sale to support the second harvest food bank and the Clemmons food pantry is scheduled for the weekend of February 13th and 14th. We need your help to make this as big of a success as in the past. Please be creative and package your items to sell. There will be a sign up sheet in the concourse starting January 30th.  We can help those who are less fortunate with your help. If you need information, please call Ellen Tommasi @ 766-5989. 40 DAYS FOR LIFE
Christians throughout Winston-Salem are invited to take part in the national 40 Days for Life effort from February 17 through March 28. In addition to 40 days of peaceful prayer and fasting for an end to abortion, please consider volunteering to pray across from Planned Parenthood/Forsyth Women’s Clinic at 3000 Maplewood Avenue during the 40 days, and spread the word to others about this important life-saving effort. 1ST RECONCILIATION SERVICE
The 1st Reconciliation Service has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 6th at 10:00 am.  We will be joined by the children of St. Leo’s and expect to have 7 to 8 priests on hand to hear the confessions of more than 160 children.

STEWARDSHIP MEETING
The Stewardship meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, March 15th.  

2010 DATES TO REMEMBER

 ALTAR FLOWERS-2010  We still have many openings for Altar Flowers.  If you wish to remember a loved one, or honor a special occasion in 2010, please download an altar flower form from the Publications Index or contact the church office at 778-0600 Extension 200.  We still need requests for: 1/24, 1/31, 2/14, 4/25, 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, 8/15, 10/31.

BAPTISMS
Baptisms are performed on the first and third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. and must be scheduled at least one month in advance. Please call the Faith Formation Office at Extension 214 to reserve space in the required Parent Preparation Class held on the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. In preparation for this class please complete the Baptismal Form and bring it to the class.

COLUMBARIUM & CEMETERY
If you would like to reserve a columbarium niche or cemetery plot please contact Sandy Arend in the church office at 778-0600, Extension 203 for information or to obtain an application.  Click here to download an application form. Parishioners have the option of acquiring the rights to interment in columbarium niches or cemetery plots with payment in full at the time of the reservation or through an Installment Payment Plan of $100/month. Fees are $1,500/$2,500 for a single/double niche or plot.

FREE ROSARY REPAIR SERVICE
Send your broken Rosaries in a padded envelope to: Betty and Dick Holden (November to April) 7930 Estero Blvd., Apartment 502, Fort Myers Beach, Fl 33931; (May to October) Crane Place, Simsbury, CT 06070. They will be repaired and returned within a week of receipt. Donations of old and broken Rosaries are also accepted which will be repaired and sent on to the missions. Include a note indicating if your Rosary is for repair and return or if it is a donation. In Florida, call 239-463-3993, in Connecticut call 860-658-6330; or send e-mail to holdenbnd@comcast.net
